Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox

After seeing this band pop up on my FaceBook Page, blasting out some fantastic tunes with an authentic vintage feel, I was very curious to see how this they would perform as a live concert. With over two million subscribers on YouTube this super sassy band make chart pop songs sound vintage, stylish and saucy. So we headed over to the O2 in Leeds to check them out.

PMJ-publicity-1-by-Braverijah-GreggFrom male singers rocking in braces and red-coloured suits, to dolled up divas, this vintage cool vibe and toe tapping performance provided us with songs from Taylor Swift and Sam Smith, to name only a couple. Young and old, standing and sitting, everyone was singing their hearts out and dancing to some of Britain’s most loved pop songs.

I’ve never been to a more calm concert, there wasn’t a mosh pit in sight, with an extremely respectable audience happily bobbing along to vintage chart tunes, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with Postmodern Jukebox. Highly recommended if you’re after something retro, sassy and different.

Check out their YouTube page and FaceBook page for upcoming concert and new videos!
