I feel as though the majority of the female population absolutely adore Lush products. I, for one, do. Prior to this face and body mask, I had only bought a few of the immensely popular bath bombs: Intergalactic, The Experimenter, and Dragon’s Egg. All beautifully smelling; all refreshing and relaxing.
I decided to have a look at the variety of other products that Lush offers, and I honestly did not realise how many different items there were. I never usually looked past the centrally-located island of bath bombs, but now that I have, I know that I need to try everything and anything. Starting with the Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask.
I was walking around the Bury shop for about 20 minutes trying to choose something new. I’m one of those people that doesn’t really like the idea of change, so anything new kind of throws me off. But, finally, I chose this particular face mask because 1. I absolutely love face masks, and 2. It smelt the nicest out of the ones they had on show. The price of the pot goes up in accordance to the size. I chose the one in the middle at £6.25, which wasn’t too bad (although it was my boyfriend that paid).
In regards to how many face masks you can get out of it all depends on how much you put on. It instructs you to “apply a generous layer”, but I have had it for over two weeks now, using it every other day, and still haven’t gone through half of it, but I do like to get my money’s worth. This face mask can be smoothed easily over your face, and is made from up to 15 ingredients, including peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin, as well as primrose seeds and aduki beans to gently exfoliate as you wash it away.
Overall, I love this product a lot more than the face masks you can buy for £1 from supermarkets. The Lush product gives you a lot more usage, keeps your face smooth and soft, and the cold feeling on your face after about 5 minutes of putting it on, is absolutely refreshing. Definitely a must buy!
